Take the steering column pieces off, slot the ignition bolts, remove the ignition cylinder, and you'll see the piece that it attaches to and turns when the key turns. A small-medium flathead screwdriver should allow you to turn it and give you power.
It's a big pain, but sure beats tearing the trunk apart.
